Job Description
The New York office of Vault-Ranked law firm client has an opening for a mid-senior level associate in the firm's Banking & Finance group. They are looking for a lawyer with six - eight years' experience in banking transactions to work on lending, letter of credit and other transactions for financial institutions.
- Represent money center banks and other financial institutions in sophisticated financing arrangements.
- Work on syndicated and bilateral lending, secured lending, and letter of credit transactions.
- Represent lenders in fund finance, trade finance, and private banking/high-net-worth finance, as well as other financings.
- Advise clients in all aspects of their transactions, including structuring, documenting, and negotiating.
- Counsel foreign and domestic lenders who serve as arrangers in syndicated credit facilities and as letter of credit issuers or swingline lenders.
- Represent lenders in cross-border financings and extensions of credit to a wide range of borrowers, including public and private companies as well as investment funds and other financial institutions.
- Work with various types of collateral, such as equity interests, accounts receivable, cash and marketable securities, promises to contribute capital, and other tangible and intangible assets.
Salary
$250,000 - 300,000 base
